A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

Based on our global design for our Android app we need some / all screens to be designed. We globally know what functions and interaction we wan, but we need a graphical designer to help us to make it all look pretty

Baseline: the app must be simple. It wil be used for 5 minutes while waiting for a train, while sitting in a train of while waiting for friends in a bar. Therefor we need the app to be super simple (without being borign)

The screens we will be needing when we select you as winner:
- A login page (with functions like "forget password" and "connect with FB")
- create and manage your account. Based on questions asked during the 5 minute "game" we will be building a profile of the user. All his answers must be manageable. Therefor we will be manageing 100+ answers on this page. Make sure your design can handle that.
- a screen to ask questions (in 5 minutes). Can be open questions or multiple choice. Answers are on a timer so the screen must contain a timer
- a result screen showing all your matches and the percentage match based on your answers (and answers given in earlier rounds)
- a screen to chat (like Whatsapp or Telegram)

For now we want to see what you can do and how you can surprise us. One or two screens is enough. The winning designer will get the job to make all (5-10) screens. Extra points can be scored if you design a nice and simple menu. Basically there are only two opties ("Start' en "Settings" but as stated above: behind the "Settings"-tab there is a lot of settings to be done :)

Beste opdrachtgever,

Hierbij mijn eerste aanzet voor de lay-out van uw app.
De kleur is natuurlijk altijd aan te passen. Ik hoor graag of dit design in de smaak valt. Alvast bedankt.

Hoi Kelvin, dank voor je eerste aanzet. Ik vind het lastig je ontwerp te beoordelen omdat:
- Het volgens mij niet de afmetingen van een smartphone scherm zijn
- Een ontwerp denk ik beter te beoordelen is als het "resultaatscherm" dus met een aantal personen die voldoen/ een match zijn ontworpen wordt. Dan zie je de combinatie van het rustige / cleane ontwerp en grafische elementen zoals fotos pas.

Al met al vind ik het ontwerp strak, maar toch iets te saai (was te verwachten met mijn briefing :) Misschien toch iets meer met iconen/ plaatjes werken?
