It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

Create a Professional Consulting Logo for "Curtain Call" with the slogan "Consulting Group".

My brand is all about teaching creative skills to traditionally non creative people like C level executives, engineers, politicians, and some celebrities.

-- My Philosophy --
Most business people do not develop themselves in the way that artists, dancers, singers, and musicians do. This results in a wide gap in creativity and self expression within the business person.

I am a dancer, singer, performer and all around daredevil. I'm also a trained engineer and analyst. I bring this breadth of experience to my clients. I help cultivate left brain and right brain skills and bring them together to become the ultimate businessperson or person of interest. I want my brand to communicate creative skill development but with a professional consulting group look.

-- Other Design Considerations --
1. Please do not use a curtain in the design.
2. I don't think a microphone would work well either unless it's very striking. It's also a little too focused.
3. Please no "CC" letter based logo designs. Unfortunately they don't work at all.

Company description

I am a solo consultant. I help my clients develop their communication skills, including public speaking, interviewing, being interviewed, posture and poise, enhancing elegance in women, increasing masculinity in men, and projecting authority and confidence. I also want to increase and expand the services I offer in the future, including management consulting services. Take that into consideration when creating designs.

Target group

My target audience is c level executives, politicians and celebrities. I work one on one and I work with groups of employees and teams. I want to create five and six figure coaching and consulting agreements, and I need the credibility to elevate the quality and scale of clients I work with. That doesn't mean that the logo has to be incredibly formal and "stuffy" it just needs to exhude class and professionalism as well as creativity.

Colors, favourites and other requirements

Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

Mature, Classic, Masculine, Luxurious and Sophisticated.

You see the attached logo examples I think you will get a better feel of what I want. Thank you.

I'm thinking a "half and half" type of logo could work. It could be a symetrical/split down the middle type design, the left having a business connotation and the right having an artistic connotation. It could certainly be a sillouhette but I'm not sure an animal would work. A shadow design could work as well kind of like your madmen design, with the item creating the shadow being a business type item and the shadow itself being a creative, performer type item.

The one thing is that I don't want it too focused on the coaching side of the business because even though I currently do mostly coaching on these creative skills, I would want to expand into traditional management consulting in the future, and the purely "creative side logical side" logo with heavy skill development connotations wouldn't fit with that type of professional service. Nonetheless I think there's a good middle ground in there somewhere with a "half half" type design. Not too specific, but enough to communicate the original message of creative skills + business skills.
