Create an inspiring logo for Imagine
- Contest holder: Ymagine
- Category: Logo design
- Status: Ended
- Files: File 1, File 2, File 3
Start date: 12-09-2018
Ending date: 03-10-2018
It all started with an idea...
A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.
Brandsupply is a platform where creative professionals and businesses collaborate on unique projects and designs.
Clients looking for a new logo or brand identity describe what they need. Designers can then participate in the project via Brandsupply by submitting one or more designs. In the end, the client chooses the design they like best.
Costs vary depending on the type of project — from €169 for a business or project name to €539 for a complete website. The client decides how much they want to pay for the entire project.

Dear AP,
As you may notice from my comments to also other proposals and my feedback to your below proposal, I tend to prefer the ones without a seperate picture. Unless a creative shadow somehow comes from a letter (which I have not seen so far)
Hi, I think I've done something nice and in brief. Unfortunately, I have to give up sometimes. I saw what my colleagues have done and I think that among these there is one that has really made a beautiful logo ... thanks for your time, I hope to see you again in another competition and I hope to see that award-winning logo (it's beautiful!) :D
Best regards

Best regards, Mascha
i will write you in private my "one".
Was a pleasure work with you!
Kind Regards

..i not agree with your rating :)
Hi AP,
Liked the letters in your former design better ;-)
And am hopeful for your creation on playing with an imaginative shadow on the letters itself. Perhaps with 1 of the letters having an awesome shadow that triggers the imagination (instead of the separate image above the word Ymagine).
Thanks for your efforts. Appreciate it! :-)

Hello Mascha, here my second version. The logo is the same as a previous proposal, in this i work only for the company name.
I decided to play with the word Ymagine, and i cut the final part of the name. In this way who read complete (and imagine) the 'missed' part of the name. The brain is predisposed to 'close' the shapes imagining the lines ... I thought it was fun, innovative and in brief. I hope you like it, obviously if you need more changes I will try to strain my imagination :)
i add also to possible slogan, of course we can change it.
Kind regards
AP
Hi AP, Yes, I like what you've done. Its an improvement to your former proposal and I agree with you on the letters (your brain automatically filled in the blanks) 2 things come to my mind: 1 what if you take that idea on the letters even a step further? (to what extend will the brain still fill in?) Perhaps play with optical illusions to fool the brain but still read loud and clear Imagine
2. What if you would play imaginative shadow(s) on the letters itself? So that 1 or some of the letters actually have a great shadow...
Hi Mascha, yes i can try to do what you suggest... i have the problem with "readability of the name" but i will try until i can :)
see you soon with new version and have a nice evening

Dear AP creative lab,
Thanks for your proposal!
And what a cool idea to imagine you're superman, or that superman is coming when doing business with Ymagin. This is also where I struggle a bit, as it may come across somewhat pretentious being in the business of organizational advice. I do like the clean modern lettertype you used and if one of the letters would actually show a shadow that triggers the imagination, the word YMAGINE itself would become more the logo.
Kind regards, Mascha
Hello Mascha, thank you for your feedback and rating. The idea behind the "superhero" have double meaning: the superhero is always successful, the 'human' part (the company) in the foreground recalls the potential that can have ... the second meaning is of imagination, the figure is projected towards the horizon, imagining possible scenarios (in the business) .
I agree with you in finding a way for the writing Ymagine to work alone. I will work for this.
Thanks again for the valuable feedback
Best regards
