A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

We are Upp, a fintech startup in Rotterdam. We are a one-stop shop for all new- and old-school investment possibilities. Our offers range from ordinary savings and stock investments to Alt-coins (Bitcoins, Ethereum) and crowdfunding. Everything is always accessible to you through an extremely user-friendly app and website.

Upp is honest, low complex and low-cost. Our main customer is 25-40 years old.

Hallo, hierbij mijn schetsen, ik weet dat dit niet de kwaliteit is waar jullie op zitten te wachten, maar ik wilde eerst weten wat jullie precies voor ogen hadden, voordat ik er meer tijd aan besteed. Hebben jullie misschien kleuren die jullie er in terug willen laten komen, liever een beeld of een letter logo etc. Ik hoor graag van jullie.

Het idee voor de logo's in de cirkel was dat het doet denken aan de crypto currencies, aangezien die bijna altijd in een cirkel staan.

What we find appealing:
- the simplicity
- the use of a combination of a symbol, name and slogan
- the use of multiple colours

What could be improved:
- a different symbol
- of the two examples you have provided us with we like the upper one better
- the use of different colours or the use of a colour with multiple shades. We tend to like blue but not a hard requirement. We are open to suggestions.
