This design is minimalist, contemporary, sobriety and elegance of a luxury exudes. It is also very easy to remember by the few accents, which in turn can be closed even on your field of activity.

In my opinion, may be classified according to this design in all known logos of big brands with very high sentimental value, which all operate on one principle: Less is more.
The font used is called Frutiger Linotype, and has a very interesting background:
