It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

We are a UK research partnership between the universities of Sheffield, Warwick, Oxford and Newcastle (SWON).

Our focus is on basic biology revealing new details about how bacteria make their cell wall (the target of penicillin), with the aim of using this knowledge to design new medical alternatives to penicillin.

We would like a logo to use digitally and in print.

Ideally the logo should look:

- Academic
- Include the words 'SWON Alliance'

Although not a requirement, tasteful reference to science/innovation/bacteria/ bacterial cell wall/ antibiotics would be welcome.

Good evening, Here is my concept for your logo. Two criss-cross Petri dish = research partnership between the universities of Sheffield, Warwick, Oxford and Newcastle.
The logo is clean, simple and suitable for online and offline media, for web and for print.
It works great at all sizes and different backgrounds.
