It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

DOA has a long history but is now searching for a corporate identity which fits the new futuristic approach. Corporate identity has to be applicable to all printed matters (compliment cards, envelopes, stationary, flyers, etc), mailings, corporate clothing, website. We are also curious about choice of colors and font.

Company description

DOA is a temporary home for a maximum of 480 cats and 180 dogs. We do that at our asylum, the pension and the daycare. Next to that DOA also has an office hour for the veterinarian, a barbershop, a cab and fysiotherapy for dogs.
Our vision: We want to be an re-homing center, a reliable partner and eventually we want to work without putting animals behind bars. At DOA you meet your ideal buddy

What is our USP?
With 40 people who care in a professional way for every year about 2000 animals who have been left behind, DOA is the biggest professional animal care center in the Netherlands. We are especially good at hospitality, added value by a vet, fysiotherapists, barbers, behaviour experts and a lot of knowledge on braintraining for animals.

Colors, favourites and other requirements

Our name is still a bit of a discussion. We have chosen for DOA – Temporary home for homeless pets. We might have to add an explanation for the short cut DOA, but we don’t know that yet.
The colors have to be part of the autumn pallette, warm shades of green, yellow, orange, which you can also identify as autumn-leave-colors. At this point we only use green in all shades. The present logo is nice, but doesn’t work with print en is a bit old fashioned. Please take into account that we have different branches (asylum, daycare, pension, barber, behaviour therapy) which make it necesessary to communicate with different print works which yet still belong together.

Hoi, als ik naar jullie pand kijk, vind ik dat je niet om groen heen kan. Vandaar dat in al mijn voorstellen groen zit. Verder vond ik het idee van de oranje kater wel leuk, zoal s in mijn eerdere voorstel. Ik ben nu wat verder gegaan in de oker, bruintinten. Persoonlijk vind ik grijs, groen ook mooi rustig, zag later dat dat ook de kleuren van het huidige logo waren... qua letter ook een paar voorstellen. warm en rond...
Ik hoor het!

Hoi, ik ben nog wat verder gegaan met de uitwerking van het logo en het briefpapier... als je nog iets nders wilt zien hoor ik het wel! Bouwien

Oke top! Andere vraag: stel je verandert de kleuren. Als ik wat meer okergeel zou willen zien bijvoorbeeld? Vind het groene kaartje ook echt te groen...

Ik ga er vanavond mee verder. Dacht nog even aan 5 kleuren, voor de 5 takken.. maar denk dat dat te ingewikkeld wordt... of wat denk jij?

misschien inderdaad te ingewikkeld (en beperkend...; kan me wel voorstellen dat je een kleurscala kiest voor honden, een voor katten en een voor overig?

Bijgaand een nieuw logo. De springende dieren vormen tegelijk een beschermend dakje...

Toch weer een oude bekende.... ;)ik vind het ontwerp hartstikke leuk! Kun je het nog wat meer uitwerken richting huisstijl?
