Hello!
I went for a minimal design for your brand. Colors can be adjusted but I thought that a baby blue suited the style well (perhaps pink for the girls?).
The logo can be easily used for tags as illustrated and since it's only one color it's easy and cheap to have the tags printed or even embroidered.
