This is how letterhead, business card, banner and compliment slip might might look like.
Friday Friday
- Contest holder: fridayfriday
- Category: Logo & stationery
- Status: Ended
Start date: 21-02-2012
Ending date: 29-02-2012
It all started with an idea...
A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.
Brandsupply is a platform where creative professionals and businesses collaborate on unique projects and designs.
Clients looking for a new logo or brand identity describe what they need. Designers can then participate in the project via Brandsupply by submitting one or more designs. In the end, the client chooses the design they like best.
Costs vary depending on the type of project — from €169 for a business or project name to €539 for a complete website. The client decides how much they want to pay for the entire project.

Do you like it or would you like me to change something?

Hi Jacob, I think you are there with the Logo. Now we need it built into Business Cards, Letterhead and Banner Ads. You are well ahead of the game on this one.
We still also need the mascot/character.
I'm really glad you like my design. About the business cards, letterheads and banner ads, do you want me to upload a design here or do you want to wait until the contest is over and then let the winner design the letterhead etc..?
About the mascot I'm really sorry but i can't really make them.
Maybe you could do another contest on this site looking for only a mascot/character. I know there's some really good character designers on this site.
And if you pick my design you can say that: this is the logo we want you to design a mascot/character for..
Hi Jacob, we can wait until the competition is over before the business cards etc. I understand about the character/mascot, and happy to leave that for now. When the competition is over, if we choose your design (which is looking likely at this point) would we be able to get variation on the logo? as in to make it fit different size ads i.e. column banners horizontal and vertical also big square etc. Maybe by moving the money bag and then name around slightly. I hope you get what I mean.
Yes of course!
Hi Jacob,
As other designers are now showing the business card, letterhead and compliment slip, could you do the same please along with the banners etc.
Many thanks.

Tag line fixed. Making the money come out of the bag is really hard but not impossible. If you want it to look good you should probably contact someone with much experience with gif or something like that. It sounds easy to just make the money come out of the bag, but if you want it to look good it's a lot of work.
ok, we'll leave the gif for now then. Can you remove the Greyscale background so that the logo will look fresh on white background website/business card/letterhead etc..
Also, remove the full stop at the end of the tag line

Like this?
Really getting there now. Can you make the tag line bigger so it stretches the width of the logo.
Also, can you make it animated so the money comes out of the bag? is that possible? So that it can be used as animated advert on other sites.

Different scenery with the bags hanging from the font, I know you wanted some sort of cartoon but i really cant do characters.

Made it a little bit 3D if that's what your're looking for, also added a tagline that I came up with myself :P.
I like this one, maybe take out the grey scale so that it sits better on stationary. Prefer the tag line from one of your others "PayDay Is So Good We Named It Twice"

This is a very clean design, it's hard to know what you like, but if you want thicker font or different colors just tell me.

Design #2. I added the bag of money since that is what you asked for. Is it better or did you have something else in mind?
/ Jacob
Hi Jacob, I do like that as a logo, but we are also looking for a character - a bit like the Meerkat for Money Supermarket or the old folf for Wonga. A character that we can then develop for further advertising. But i do like what you have done here as a logo
Hi, does it have to be a very detailed character? Or would you be satisfied with a stickman for example?
would not have to be too much detail, not sure about a stickman though...
Hi Jacob, so far we like this logo best as a logo. COuld you also do a some more imagery along the same theme using the money bags. Also, could you do this logo with some differnet fonts for the "Friday Friday" and maybe change the tag line to something like "Makes PayDay so good we named it twice" or something similar. We are still looking for some form of a cartoon type character or animated character or mascot, if that makes sense
Hi, I'm glad you like it and i will start working on some more designs. I don't think I can do a cartoon character since i've never done that before, but i'll give it a try.

My design for Friday Friday
We are looking for more of an identity than just an image incorporating the name. Think of an animated characteer or something to do with borrowing money, or cash based.
