It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs


Baking Power started out as a project but now we're registering as a private limited company. Therefore we are in need of a major re-branding strategy. We want to step away from our old sweet & girly logo and get a new logo which represents our mission to empower. We're also open for other logo's and designs that portray our mission and/or product. First, our focus was on healthy + empowerment (see attachments) but now we focus on empowerment + real food made with real ingredients. It is very important that the logo and design represent a professional corporate identity. We will use the logo and design for our website, social media and packaging. We are looking for different type of designs. These may contain only words, only a symbol or a combination of both. Our product has a story. However, our customers who sell them in their shops don't always have the opportunity to tell the story. So our mission should be clear and telling from our logo as well as still being appealing to our customers.

Company description


Baking Power is a social enterprise dedicated to the empowerment of women who have been a victim of human trafficking. We bake handmade muffins with them using REAL ingredients such as carrots, raspberries, mulberries, hemp seeds, buckwheat flour and sell them B2B. By baking together with these women and ultimately providing them a job, they learn new and different skills by which they can reintegrate into society and become economically independent. Currently we serve 8 businesses (5 private Coffee Companies, a healthy food & salad bar and two large business cafeterias) in the heart of Amsterdam.

Target group


We've seen a diverse range of people buying our product, from young parents who buy it for their family to young professionals to elderly people, . The group which purchases our product the most are young women between age 25 - 35.

Beste Baking Power,

Hetzelfde concept, de vuist en de muffin maar dan met een iets minder agressievere uitstraling.
De Power is nog steeds aanwezig zoals ook de muffin.
Het element "echte producten" wordt positief vertaald door een smile in de vuist.
Ziet u hem?

De positieve insteek / uitstraling hoort bij de doelgroep en in het bijzonder bij het doel op zich.

Het logo omgeven door een kader of andere vorm geeft een beknelde indruk en heeft mijn voorkeur niet.
Het totaalbeeld moet een eerlijk en vooral vrij en krachtig gevoel uitstralen.
