Company description

Industrial Auctions is an international auction company that specializes in the auction of equipment from the food industry.
The company does its photograph and describe the lots as clearly as possible. The communication with the bidders is as complete as possible so that buyers do not surprises. As a result, the company has a good reputation with both bidders and suppliers of auctions.
The current website is http://www.industrial-auction.com .

Target group

The bidders are professionals, it is important that the look and feel is professional and looks trustworthy.

3 Design
3.1 Logo
The current logo of Industrial Auctions is the starting point. (Http://www.industrial-auctions.com )
3.2 Appearance
The design of the site should reflect the professional and international character of the company.
This is an auction of industrial machinery and lots that go with it.
The design should be sleek, professional and clear.
The current site, including the grey elements in the header is a bit boring.
The new site must exude confidence and easy to navigate.
The amount of information on a page can be large (see http://www.industrial-auctions.com/auction/auction/categories.asp?did=43 and Annex 1).
This information must still be clear and manageable.
3.3 Example function
On the auction page additional graphics may added to the overall attractiveness. These graphics must be managed in the HTML editor of the web manager. It should be taken into account that the auctioneer is no designer, is best to work with one or several standard templates that can simply be adjusted.
4 Homepage
4.1 Elements
On the front page the following elements must be shown:
• Live auctions (auctions with lots open to bids).
• Upcoming auctions (auctions not yet open for bids)
• Closed auctions (bids are no longer allowed)

4.2 auction images
At the moment , randomly three photos from the lot list of the auction are shown randomly per auction on the front-page in the existing design we have chosen for portrait photos , landscape photos may also be used.
5 Auction page
The page consists of two sections
The head with auction information and a lot list grouped by main and subgroup.
5.1 Heading

1. Name Auction
2. Lot Number
3. Start date
4. End date (Closing)
5. Viewing days
6. Pick up date
7. Address of goods sold
8. Additional Information This is for the auctioneer himself to fill in via the HTML editor in the web manager.

5.2 Lot Categories
Lots are grouped into main and subcategories.
A lot is always linked to a subcategory.
Only sub categories will be shown with one or more lots attached.
5.2.1 Main categories
Per main category, the following information is displayed:
• present subgroup (s)
• Number of lots
• Number of bids
• Closing date and time for each subcategory
5.2.2 Subcategories
By subcategory a list of lots is shown with the following information:
• Status icons
o New lot is added past 24 hours.
o You are highest bidder (visible only to logged bidders)
o Many bids on a Lot
o Part of combination of lots
• Small image of lots
• Lot number
• Lot name
• Part of lot description
• Number of bids
• Highest bid
• Closing date and time
• If the list of lots contains multiple pages, there are links to the other pages shown.
6 Lot pages
On the lot page all relevant information of the lot is shown, this information is partly in blocks together. It concerns the following information:
1. Lot name
2. Lot number
3. Lot description
4. Start date time
5. End date time
6. Remaining time
7. Photo (s) of the lot. (To see the pictures of the lot to show, JQuery techniques are used).
8. Offer details:
a) Starting a bid

c) Minimum next bid

- Normal lot
- VAT cars

- Etc.

7 Delivering design
The approved design is delivered as PSD with all the layers separated.
Used fonts are supplied separately or indicate where these fonts through ,Google web fonts or other parties are available.
If fonts must be purchased then this is the presentation of the design reported.

Ik heb een symbool-logo ontworpen dat bestaat uit een "a" met hierin een "i" verwerkt. Tevens staat er ook nog eens "industrial auctions" naast. Graag had ik uw mening geweten.
